Sharing my full OneSkin OS-01 Face Rich Cream review after using it for the past month, including the texture, how I use it, key ingredients, and how it compares to the original OS-01 Face Moisturizer.

What is the OneSkin OS-01 Face Rich Cream?

The OneSkin OS-01 Face Rich Cream is a deeply moisturizing face cream created for dry, depleted, or mature skin.

It contains OneSkin’s proprietary OS-01 Peptide, along with ingredients designed to support hydration, visible firmness, smoothness, and the skin barrier.

My OneSkin Rich Cream review after one month

The first thing I noticed was the texture.

It’s light and almost fluffy when you pump it out, but it feels SO rich and moisturizing on the skin. Usually, when I think of a thick face cream, I picture something heavy, sticky, or greasy that sits on top of my skin. This doesn’t do that at all.

My skin immediately soaks it in, and it leaves my face feeling soft, hydrated, and nourished without feeling like I’m wearing a thick greasy layer of product.

It’s one of those textures that feels substantial and luxurious enough for nighttime but you could totally use it during the day.

After using it consistently for the past month, my skin feels softer, smoother, and firmer. I’ve also noticed that it feels moisturized for much longer instead of feeling dry in the morning when I wake up.

Living in Tucson, this is a big deal. The air here will suck every molecule of moisture from your body if given the opportunity lol.

What I love about the packaging

The jar feels substantial, and it has a small pump built into the top.

I LOVE this design because you get the luxe jar experience without having to dip your fingers into the product every day. You simply press the top to dispense the cream.

It keeps the rest of the product protected and makes it easy to control how much you use.

OneSkin says one to two pumps should cover the face and neck. With twice-daily use, one jar should last approximately one to two months, depending on how much you apply. I can definitely tell this will last me at least one more month.

Key ingredients in the OneSkin OS-01 Face Rich Cream

OS-01 Peptide

The star of OneSkin’s product line is its proprietary OS-01 Peptide.

As we age, some cells enter a state called cellular senescence. These dysfunctional cells (we call them zombie cells!) can release inflammatory signals that affect surrounding cells and contribute to visible changes in collagen, elastin, hydration, and skin-barrier strength.

OneSkin developed the OS-01 Peptide to target the visible effects associated with these senescent zombie cells and support healthier looking skin over time.

Triple Lipid Barrier Complex

The formula contains a combination of ceramides, cholesterol, and fatty acids. These are skin-identical lipids that support the moisture barrier and help the skin retain hydration.

Tremella mushroom extract

Tremella fuciformis mushroom extract helps the skin hold onto hydration and provides antioxidant support.

Vegan collagen amino acids

The formula includes vegan collagen amino acids and microalgae intended to support the appearance of the skin’s structure and volume.

Hydrating and nourishing ingredients

The full formula also contains glycerin, squalane, shea butter, panthenol, ectoin, sodium PCA, meadowfoam seed oil, moringa seed oil, macadamia seed oil, and vitamin E.

Basically, they did not skimp on the moisturizing ingredients.

What does the research say?

OneSkin conducted a 12-week, third-party, double-blind clinical study with 29 women between the ages of 43 and 65. Participants applied the Rich Cream to their faces and necks twice per day.

According to OneSkin, after six weeks:

• 100% showed improved hydration
• 93% showed improved visible firmness and elasticity
• 97% saw a reduction in the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles
• 97% reported smoother, softer, and more radiant skin

After 12 weeks, the study reported a 38% increase in hydration, a 37% improvement in smoothness, and a 13% increase in barrier strength.

* I always like to point out that this was a small study and that individual results can vary. I’ve only used the product for one month, so my thoughts are based on my own experience during that time.

The biggest differences I’ve personally noticed are softness, hydration, and a firmer feel.

OneSkin Rich Cream vs. the original Face Moisturizer

The biggest difference is the level and feel of the hydration.

The original OS-01 Face Moisturizer is the lighter option and is designed for oily, combination, or normal skin.

The OS-01 Face Rich Cream has a more replenishing texture and is designed for dry, depleted, or mature skin. It may also be a better fit during colder months, in a dry climate, or anytime your skin needs extra moisture.

You could also use the original Face Moisturizer during the day and the Rich Cream at night.

Personally, I love the Rich Cream because it gives me that deeply moisturized feeling without the heaviness I usually associate with a rich face cream. I can see myself using it year-round here in Tucson, especially at night.

How I use the OneSkin Face Rich Cream

At night, I apply it after cleansing and any lighter serums. I smooth it over my face, neck, and chest as the final moisturizing step in my routine.

It also wears beautifully under makeup for me. I would give it a few minutes to fully absorb before applying complexion products.

Is the OneSkin OS-01 Face Rich Cream worth it?

After using it for the past month, this is 100% a yes.

It’s definitely a premium skincare product, but the experience feels premium from the formula to the packaging. I love the pump, I love how my skin absorbs it, and the fluffy and rich texture is unlike any of my other moisturizers.

Most importantly, my skin feels softer, more moisturized, and firmer.
