Welcome to Life Mastery Soul Memos, Episode 74! Each month, WU World-Changer and Life Mastery Coach, David McLeod, shares a new soul memo with you!
Episode 74, October 2026: Embracing Your Inner Treasure
Have you ever stood beneath a glittering canopy of desert stars, or watched an ocean swell crash against towering cliffs at sunrise, and felt an overwhelming wave of reverence wash over you? In moments like that, we find it effortless to fall into pure awe at the majesty of the cosmos. We readily marvel at ancient redwood forests, grand symphonies, intricate architecture, and the remarkable accomplishments of gifted individuals around us.
Yet, a curious and somewhat tragic thing happens the moment we step away from those scenes and return to our daily routines. When we glance in the mirror or pause between our daily tasks, that expansive feeling of wonder vanishes. In its place, we tend to notice our perceived shortcomings, past mistakes, and ordinary routines. We look at the grandeur of creation and think, “Now that is miraculous.” But when we look at ourselves, we think, “I am messy, flawed, and terribly ordinary.”
