Affirmations are powerful tools that can positively impact your life, helping you manifest your dreams and desires. But what exactly is an affirmation? It is a short, powerful statement used to intentionally raise our vibration. By proclaiming your truth, as you choose it to be, with faith and a touch of manifestation magic, affirmations can transform your inner dialogue and, consequently, your life.
The Power of “I Am”
We have an estimated 50,000 thoughts daily, many of which are hypercritical of ourselves. We may speak to ourselves in ways we would never speak to others. Affirmations, especially those that start with “I am,” are incredibly powerful. Whatever follows the words ”I am” becomes your truth. Very powerful, indeed.
Tips for Effective Affirmations
- Believe and Feel: An affirmation must feel about fifty percent true to resonate with you. It’s the feeling and belief behind the statement that give it power.
- Positive Statements: Choose empowering statements that improve your energy vibration. For example, instead of saying, “I am tired, I am sick, I am broke, I am not worthy, I am stuck,” opt for statements like:
- “I am energetic and full of life.”
- “I am healthy and thriving.”
- “I am abundant and financially secure.”
- “I am deserving of love and success.”
- “I am moving forward with ease.”
Be Kind to Yourself
Be kind to yourself and vigilant about the thoughts and words you think and say about yourself. Select affirmations that lift you up and align with the life you want to create.
